Sierra Nevada Harvest Ale

I really liked it. It's definately a heavier beer than the regular pale ale. You can really taste the hops. I'd recommend it. The bar doen the street has it on tap and yes, it's better on tap.

i like sierra nevada.....but i didn't like this one at all,it has nasty taste and is bitter like hell....in a bad way.

A bunch of deliciousness in your glass- I assume this is the wet hop version.

Tried this at the Drafting Room - liked the 2006 the best

Excellent beer - on tap at Mellow Mushroom by Tinseltown. I believe its around 6-7%. Still trying to hunt down the other 2 Harvest versions

Deep amber in color with a big rocky head that laces well. The aroma is resiny and citrusy with a whiff of grass. It has a full mouth feel and the malt comes through as caramel but it is the hop flavor that is what works. Not big on the bitter but the pine and grapefruit hops are well placed and the minor floral and spice hop tones peek though time and again. When chilled the finish is rather dry but as it warms up the caramel malt shows up more and more
at the end.
