Val-Dieu Grand Cru

Val-Dieu Grand Cru

A beautiful quadrupel style ale from Belgium, with complex fruit tastes of plums, raisins, caramel, and candied sugars. With a thick head and dark brown color, this is a serious ale with enough body to back up its intense sweet and malty flavors. The soft creaminess of the ale is enough to disguise it's high alcohol (10.5%). Definitely one of the best quads out there.

Quote-leftVery light mouthfeel for a special beer. Otherwise a good one.Quote-right

Quote-leftI had a double magnum of this when I graduated college last december (thats 6 Liters). It was a 2003 and damn was it good! Belgian bier is something to try and to respect. -CraftbrewerQuote-right

Quote-leftI appreciate what they're doing, but I like a quadrupel with a bolder flavor.Quote-right
